.This is a senior appointment, taking ownership for the daily running of the operations within the contract, reporting to the General Manager and you will deputise in the General Manager's absence
.Ensure all KPI's, such as operational and financial targets are met as required

.Work efficiently to tight deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction targets and service targets are adhered to in line with our values and behaviours
.Ensure effective communication throughout the operation, communicating planned requirements providing information on performance, company news and procedures
.Ensuring an effective people resourcing plan to meet the needs of the business.
.You will be responsible for building relationships with business partners to ensure that they meet the service level agreements.
.Be actively involved with budget reviews with added value thinking for the customer.
.Ensure the operation operates to the mutual benefit of the customer and the company.
.Ideally you will have senior management experience of working within a 3PL environment, FMCG, supply chain, understanding processes and operations requirements, being fully familiar with stringent service level expectations, particularly in a transport environment.
.Commercially astute with the ability to deliver benefit against a closed book budget
.A CPC (National & International) is a prerequisite for the position.
.You will have experience of working closely with clients and developing effective working relationships.
