We are recruiting for an Operation Officer based in London to support the organisation in delivering our ground-breaking community orchard programme, Helping Britain Blossom.

Operations Officer (3 days/ week*) £24,000 pro rata plus 5% matched pension contribution *we operate a flexible working hours policy

The Operations Officer will provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of The Orchard Project and the Helping Britain Blossom project. This will involve updating and maintaining office systems including Office 365 and database system Salesforce, offering basic IT support to colleagues, supporting with the logistics and administration for team events and meetings, providing financial and business administration support including some book keeping, creation and distribution of e-newsletters and ongoing operational support for the profile-raising and communications activities of the project including administering the web site and our social media accounts.

We are looking for candidates with excellent knowledge and experience of administration support within the charity sector including experience of maintaining and creating content for web and social media. Applicants should be passionate about the work we do and will be great advocates in communicating this to others.

The posts is for 12 months fixed term contract and we are confident in securing additional funding which will extend the contract by at least a further 12 months.
