Nicholas Associates are currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to cover a 2 - 3 month temporary role to work for our client based in Hull.
This role will require someone with significant experience of managing the payroll process in particular of managing, and being responsible for, the HMRC Year End Process.
Experience
* Experience of managing the payroll process and able to build productive relationships quickly
* Ability to work calmly and productively within tight deadlines
* Experience of a fast paced environment
* Superb attention to detail
* Experience of a payroll system, use of ADP Freedom is a distinct advantage
* Exceptional organisational skills, working flexibly and prioritising workload in order to meet deadlines
* Strong Communication skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, resourceful and able to apply initiative to work independently as well as contribute to the effectiveness of a larger function
You will be expected to adapt and use the payroll system to its full potential as well as assisting with the year end process and training another staff member on use of the system. The payroll covers (Apply online only) monthly paid staff across 2 sites.
