Hays IT have been engaged to source a Senior IT Support Analyst to join their expanding IT Team.
Your new role
Working closely within a small team, you will carry out tasks that are key to the smooth running of departments within Head Office and also the Branch network.
You will also be proactive in the identification of potential upgrades, changes and issues that need to be addressed.
What you need to succeed
A keen desire to provide service excellence
First-rate telephone manner with the ability to deal with all levels of staff
Able to gather detailed information about a user request and/or issue
Trouble shoot and problem solve a wide variety of requests and issues
Follow set procedures and processes whilst documenting completed work, and identify and implement changes to procedures as requirements change and adapt.
Good knowledge of Server 2003, 2008 & 2012
Strong knowledge of Windows Client OS - Win7 to Win10
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 - Office 2016
Microsoft Office 365
Backup and Replication technologies
Exposure to ITIL based methodologies
Willing and able to pick-up new skills and responsibilities
SAN storage systems
LAN/WAN & Firewall - Network traffic management
Legislative requirements of an IT department
