One of the best Secondary Schools in the county for value added teaching and one which was graded as "outstanding" by Ofsted in 2012 is looking for a Media Studies Teacher to join their popular and successful English and Media Studies department in September.

The successful new Media Studies Teacher will be a "good" and "outstanding" Teacher who can plan and deliver exciting and inspirational lessons. You will have a good track record of success at A Level and GCSE. The new Media Studies Teacher will be required to teach KS3 English as well as part of your timetable.

The Media Studies Teacher will join an English and Media department which sits at the centre of a carefully designed school with large classrooms and first rate facilities. You will have your own Media classroom with a multi-media hub which is linked to a BOSE surround sound system.

The Secondary School was graded as "outstanding" by Ofsted in 2014 and they were particularly impressed by the high level of student engagement in class and their excellent behaviour. The School has continued to impress since 2014 with even better academic results driven by a supportive and stable leadership team.

The Secondary School is a large, 1400 on roll, non-selective school with a thriving sixth form. The School is located in Mid-Kent so applicants from all parts of the county are welcome to apply.

The main and upper pay scale apply to this Media Studies vacancy and there is some room for a pastoral TLR for those more experienced Media Studies Teachers who are looking for responsibility.
