Adecco have an exciting role just in for an experienced Business Support Manager to join our local client on a permanent basic.

Your role will be to ensure that the department meets its objectives and service standards by effective and efficient management of the Business Support team.

You will have many responsibilities in this exciting role, some will include:

* Work closely with the Business Support Supervisor to ensure that SLA's for proposal processing and payouts are in place which are being achieved and closely monitored
* Log and distribute new proposals/payouts, ensuring service levels are maintained
* Delegate appropriate responsibilities and authority within your control, consistent with effective decision making while maintaining overall responsibility for results
* Staff appraisals, incorporating KPI setting
* Regular 1-2-1's with staff
* Regular team meetings with Business Support Advisor
* Over see and conduct quality checks as directed by the Business Quality Team
* Mentor and performance management of staff
* Deal effectively with absence management, in conjunction with the Operations Manager and HR
* Assist in the development of team members through training and coaching, including inductions
* Participate in the selection and appointment of staff reporting to you in accordance with approved procedures, in conjunction with the Operations Manager
* Monitoring and reporting of SLA's
* Management of finance queries
* Monitor and stay abreast of business activities, making recommendations for improvement and
development where necessary
* To resolve complex and contentious issues to ensure effective business support is maintained
* Conduct root cause analysis when issues arise and provide ongoing recommendations/solutions to
improve professionalism and service
* Build positive relationships with other staff and colleagues
* Deputise for payout of sales commissions
* Responsible for building relationships with all Sales staff and Senior Management, ensuring an alliance is achieved and maintained between the Business Support Team and the Sales team
* Responsible for regular contact with the Sales team, to gain awareness of business volumes and the flow of business expected on a monthly basis
* Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required
