Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger, VAT rules, ATT GBP20-23K pa, 12+ months experience, Milton Keynes.

Our client, a major global automotive manufacturer of commercial vehicles are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their large Finance Department. They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to look after all purchase ledger duties, cashbook, daily payments and some month-end reporting.

This is a junior level role but you will need to have some experience and knowledge of purchase ledger and VAT rules. If you are currently studying then ATT would be a suitable qualification for this role. The ideal candidate will have 12+ months experience, possess excellent attention to detail, good analytical skills and good working knowledge of Excel.

Duties & Responsibilities

* All purchase ledger duties
* Resolve all queries and assist in completing payment runs weekly
* Assist in the creation of monthly management reports and to reconcile various balance sheet accounts
* Reporting on new business
* Monitor Accounts email inbox
* Raise sales ledger invoice for monthly recharge
* Import RI invoices into PSF
* Register payments on
