.NET Architect, Lead Consultant, CTO

A .NET Architect experienced with the latest .NET and Azure technologies is required by a leading UK Microsoft Gold Partner Consultancy based in West Sussex. We are looking for a "hands-on" architect who likes to get involved in all aspects of the development cycle. Will be working in a deputy capacity for the CTO.

As a principal architect with 15+ years of experience you should be able to use your knowledge and expertise to provide solutions to complex business problems. And preferably someone with Microsoft Consultancy Practice experience who already has the basics as to how we operate.

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication skills and client facing experience
  • Solid level of experience in web product architecture & development.
  • Up to date and highly proficient in core Microsoft technologies C#, ASP.NET, SQL, MVC 5, Web API
  • A good knowledge of single page application design, and frameworks such as Angular JS1/2 and React JS
  • Understand and manage the implementation of automated testing
  • Have a good understanding of the Azure infrastructure.
  • Clear ability to technically mentor, improve & inspire others as the team grows.
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to make metrics visible across the business

Preferred skills

  • A good knowledge of SharePoint and BizTalk
  • Understanding of Lean/Agile methodologies

We are specifically looking for the someone that has the ability to:

  • Lead the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software.
  • Prepare, review and analyse software specifications for complex products and systems.
  • Provide accurate resource, schedule and cost estimating for software development and deployment projects
  • Lead the development, test and integration of complex systems involving multiple teams and third parties
  • Interact with clients and third parties and provide the bridge between technical and non-technical elements of the project delivery
