Risk Strategy and AB&C Business Partner

Role Type: Permanent

Salary: GBP75,000 to GBP85,000 plus benefits

Location: London

Our Client, a leading UK Bank is looking for an experienced Risk Strategy and AB&C Business Partner to w ork with Global AB&C and Risk & Strategy Business Management to lead the design, development and delivery of reports and analysis to improve the quality and value of compliance MI reporting as well as drive consistency of MI globally.

Hybrid Project Manager/Business Analyst would be a good fit for this role.

Role Purpose

  • To manage and deliver reporting & analytics for stakeholders within Risk Strategy and AB&C
  • To maintain oversight of MI analytics and reporting within Risk Strategy and AB&C
  • Capture RAS and AB&C FCC reporting and data needs, provide recommendations, and facilitate solutions by leveraging the capabilities of the wider Global Compliance MI (GCMI).
  • Continuous improvement of metrics, reporting, and data including, but not limited to, improvements in quality and efficiency, removing redundancies and rationalising similar data provided in different capacities across the organization.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years of proven and progressive experience in Compliance at a financial institution or comparable environment.
  • Five years of proven and progressive work in a project-oriented environment, including management consulting, project management and/or business analysis experience
  • Ability to work and communicate with senior management to understand the pressures, challenges and demands on a given function and create solutions to address those items.
  • Previous experience working on improving process and procedure is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of data flow and data architecture
  • Plan and coordinate UAT, take the lead in addressing production problems, and identify opportunities to improve MI processes and systems
