Employee Benefits Administrator - Employee Benefits - Birmingham

My Client has an exciting opportunity for an Employee Benefits Administrator, with strong numerical and analytical skills to join our Group Risk Employee Benefits Team based in Birmingham. For the right candidate, they will offer excellent training and long term career progression within Employee Benefits.

You will be part of a global consulting leader in health, talent, retirement and investments - one that employs 20,000 people in more than 40 countries. You will be part of an award winning team who are the trusted provider of benefit scheme administration services for a wide range of the top UK companies.

As an Employee Benefits Administrator, you'll provide quality administration and analytical support to consultants and clients and assist in the development and retention of a client portfolio.

This will include:
* Providing quality administration and analytical support to consultants and clients regarding Group Life, Critical Illness & Income Protection Benefits
* Liaison with providers to ensure delivery of data, renewal terms and quotations
* Retention and development of existing clients
* Keep up to date with industry knowledge and demonstrate continued personal professional development
* Naturally, you'll be a strong verbal communicator with excellent telephony skills, who can work on their own initiative and is keen to be pro-active at all times as to ensure the best support and customer service possible

Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience of Group Risk Employee Benefits (Life Cover, Income Protection & Critical Illness) an advantage but not essential
* Financial Services / Insurance administration experience essential, combined with a numerical and analytical mind-set
* Educated to A level standard preferred, GCSE Grades A-C in English & Maths essential or equivalent
* Strong client service experience
* Strong team player, who can work independently when required and has the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong IT skills including MS Excel, Word & Outlook
