My client is an award-winning provider of Telecoms, IT and Security solutions to businesses across the UK. We're an innovative and growing technology company that installs and maintains unified communications solutions to various vertical markets. We are looking to recruit an ICT Support Executive to join our team.

About The Role

This role requires you to provide desk based support to clients in response to reactive request for technical support alongside the proactive support enabled from a wide range of monitoring solutions. You will need to be able to take on technical issues such as; WLR/SIP & Broadband carrier & local equipment issues, Avaya & E-LG Telephone system faults/Change requests, IT Related Software & Hardware issues; managing them through to resolution.

Day-to-day You Will Be Carrying Out Support Tasks For Customers Including

*Performing change requests to LG and Avaya phone systems, troubleshooting handset connection issues and system issues.
*Ensuring that accompanying software is running correctly and make configuration changes to the software.
*Troubleshooting line faults and liaising with BT Openreach and SIP providers to resolve any line faults.
*Troubleshooting broadband connectivity and speed issues, liaising with the carrier and the customer. Performing setup of Routers and configuration changes.
*Maintaining Customer cloud service accounts.
*Ensuring that customer anti-virus, remote access and monitoring clients are installed, monitored correctly and up-to-date.
*Ensuring that customer backup clients are operating correctly.
*Building new PCs and laptops for customers.
*Recommending add-on products to compliment the customer's business.
Person Specification

This role requires the candidate to be keen to learn and capable of working in a team. Providing an excellent level of customer service is essential which includes positively dealing with customer needs and regularly updating customers.

Technical or practical experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. You will also need to keep up to date with new technologies including relevant technical training and certifications as required by the business.
