Commercial Insurance Account Handler

GBP22,000 - GBP25,000

Our client, an independently owned Commercial Insurance Brokerage, are looking to expand their existing Commercial Insurance team. The group have a job opportunity for an Account Handler to manage a book of existing Commercial insurance clients and provided support to Account Executives. This is a small but busy team, providing a traditional broking service, where you will have a variety of work, and you will be encouraged and supported to have responsibility for your own allocated portfolio.
Key responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day enquiries from an existing Commercial Insurance portfolio, as well as from new client enquiries.
- Identify cross-sales opportunities and potential areas of growth
- Establish client's insurance requirements and provide suitable cover recommendations

- Invite, chase and place Commercial Insurance renewals

- Process and administer mid-term adjustment quotations

- Prepare Risk submissions for insurance companies

- Collect Insurance premiums and setup payment plans

- Issue insurance policy documentation

- Provide technical support to the groups Account Executives

- Prepare new business and renewal presentations

Experience/skills required:

At least 2 years current/recent Commercial Insurance Broking experience. The successful candidate will have previous exposure to SME Employers Liability, Public Liability and Commercial Property risks.
