Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 36 hours, 9:00am-5:00pm - Monday to Friday

Our client a Payroll Services company are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their Finance Team on a permanent basis. The successful Payroll Clerk will have recent practical payroll experience.

Your main duties as payroll clerk will include:

* Processing weekly and monthly payroll for 7,500 employees from a range of clients within commerce and private sectors
* Inputting starters and leavers
* Calculating SSP, SMP, PAYE, Umbrella and NI* BACS payments
* Deal with all payroll queries from clients
* General administration and accounts work

Skills required:

* Will have substantial payroll experience either for a large company or for ideally for a payroll services company
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Working knowledge of Sage Line 50
* Previously worked for a Payroll Bureau
* Liaising with clients and suppliers
* Strong negotiator
* Experience from an Accountancy related background (preferable)

* Business induction
* Bespoke Payroll Software
* Payroll Bureau Software
