A Hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager with testing experience

Required to work closely with the business, business areas and the IT department to deliver business focussed projects and process change for our niche insurance business.

You will have the ability to both support and test applications and to analyse and document business processes. In addition to this, you must demonstrate excellent communication skills, have the ability to build good working relationships with all levels of management, have an eye for detail and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Key responsibilities:

* Investigate and analyse business activities and processes, identifying potential improvements
* Undertake testing of new processes and IT solutions on behalf of the business and project teams
* Prepare test conditions and test scripts
* Help to coach and mentor business testers
* Act as a test lead on small to medium projects
* Facilitate / lead project workshops as required
* Undertake effective Stakeholder Management
* Manage the production of required deliverables on behalf of the Project Manager
* Support the implementation of new systems and processes by training and/or assisting users
* Deputise for the Project Manager as required

Person Specification:

* Must have both Business Analysis and Project Management experience
* Must have a background in testing
* Experience within financial services would be an advantage
* Personal drive, energy, self-sufficiency and commitment
* Adaptable and creative
* Knowledge of a range of testing tools and methodologies
