About the Role:

Working within the Sales function the Sales Planning Analyst plays a vital role in the success of the business. Taking responsibility for producing accurate sales forecasts and sales support for the business, the impact of the role is significant for the growth of our client. Using internal models and collating sales and market data from external sources the Sales Planning Analysts responsibilities will cover:

* Producing detailed and accurate sales support analysis.
* Manage various information streams in order to maintain up to the minute information on vehicle sales in the UK.
* Take a keen interest and conduct independent research into sales market conditions impacting both of your motor manufacturer partners.
* Develop and improve key processes within the department.
* Present complex information at internal forums and be on hand to provide valuable insight to other internal departments.
* Maintain strong relationships with all external manufacturers and retailer groups.

About You:

Whilst previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage, it is not a prerequisite. A strong interest in the automotive and sales world is a must!

* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & Access.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Previous experience of managing large data streams and assimilating into working models.
* Previous experience of sales operational models, ideally in the automotive sector.
* Ability to confidently make decisions, based on well researched information.
* Comfortable challenging existing ideas and processes in order to make improvement gains.
* Ability to confidently present complex ideas and models.
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
* Positive attitude and approaches problems with a solution methodology.
