My client is seeking an experienced and driven accounts payable clerk to join their busy and successful team.

The company
The organisation is a specialist retailer in high value fixtures and fittings. They have been operational for over 15 years and work with some of the best designers and finest materials to offer the best in design, innovation and quality.

The role
Working as part of a motivated and successful team your duties will include:
*March, batch and code invoices quickly and efficiently with few errors. Respond to supplier queries and prepare the monthly payment run
*Respond to supplier queries on a timely basis
*Prepare the monthly payment run efficiently and with few errors
*Liaise closely with all departments within the business to ensure all invoices are accurately received, recorded and authorised
*Prepare a quarterly reconciliation of supplier statements in a timely and accurate manner
*Ad hoc duties to support the business including but not limited to credit card payment, fuel cards, dart tags
*Assist the Finance Manager with month end procedures, must be completed within a designated time frame
*Identify, negotiate and implement cost savings strategies where appropriate

Key skills
*Previous experience of working within an Accounts Payable Department
*Ability to communicate effectively
*Ability to work well under pressure
*Working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
*Experience in using Sage 1000
*Enthusiastic and willing to learn
