Job Description

My client specialises in developing and manufacturing engine and drivetrain components for racing cars, high performance vehicles and the aerospace industry. They are now looking for an experienced Accounts administrator who has fantastic attention to detail and willing to go the extra mile. Your duties as Accounts administrator will be as follows but not limited to:

* Managing incoming and outgoing post duties
* Answering and transferring telephone calls, proving main switchboard cover
* Using MRP /ERP /Finance systems
* Booking in Goods Returns Notes
* Purchase invoice matching to Goods Returns Notes
* Recording supplier invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
* Arranging authorised supplier payments
* Daily bank reconciliations and journals
* Creating schedules and journals for prepayments, provisions and accruals
* Monthly revaluation of currency bank accounts to current exchange rates
* Reconcile customer and supplier account balances
* Month End reporting / journal entries / intrastat
* Payroll - preparation and completion of the monthly payroll (Sage)
* Collating, reconciling and coding expenses and credit card payments
* Management support - typing reports, preparing spreadsheets, presentations and other general duties
* Welcoming visitors and arranging tea / coffee / lunches as required
* Taking care to ensure customer proprietary information remains confidential at all times
* Being aware of quality requirements of the business at all times
* Being aware of health and safety responsibilities in own and others' activities
* Adhering to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment, systems and materials at all times

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this Accounts admin role you will need;

* Previous experience in accounts and general administration duties essential, ideally 2 years minimum with payroll experience / knowledge of Sage
* Team orientated, demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the Company and colleagues
* Good standard of written and spoken communication skills
* Ability to present written information in a structured and balanced manner
* Must be able to work independently and flexibly, using own initiative and maintaining high levels of confidentiality
* Must be able to demonstrate high level of numeracy and accuracy, with attention to detail
* Good PC skills, MS Office, MRP
