Commercial Analyst - Manchester

Independent Clinical Services are one of the largest health and social care providers across the UK. We have based our offering around four areas: staffing, community and complex care, managed services and managed health services, chosen for their growth potential. We are a high growth business and need a motivated, career minded Commercial Data Analyst to support parts of the business within Manchester.

Job Scope:

• To provide well presented, accurate and timely management information, both internally and externally.
• To extract, interrogate and analyse data to support business decision making, from high-level requests.
Key Tasks:
• To manage the MI expectations of multiple external and internal stakeholders, in a fast-moving environment, where short-notice requests are common.
• To quickly gain an understanding of our organisation and marketplace, keeping abreast of any changes and the impact of such changes on the business.
• Present complex business data clearly and concisely to assist with business decisions.
• To analyse and review management information and where appropriate offer commentary on identified trends and anomalies.
• Assist with Operational Performance, Forecasting and Budget Analysis.
• Be competent in the use of software applications currently in use in the business. (MS Office, Itris and Saber)
• To understand the multiple sources of business information, and further develop the format, delivery and analysis of existing reports as well as creation of new reports where required.

About you:

• You will have strong Analytical skills, with confidence in interpreting high volumes of numerical data using analytical tools, data analysis principles and quantitative methodologies.
• A good knowledge and understanding of strong time management and planning skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
• A high level of computer literacy, including:
o Advanced MS Excel skills (essential), including PivotTables, VBA, Lookups.
o Proficient user of MS Office.
o Knowledge of SQL / SSRS would be advantageous.
o Experience of Itris and Saber is desirable
