Our Client a rapidly expanding organisation within the Care Sector are looking for an experienced L&D professional to join their HR team. With over 140 branches the company have grown significantly. The company are investment backed and have strong acquisition targets to triple further in size over the next 5 years. It really is a great time to join the organisation.

Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible to the management, development and delivery of financial planning, analysis and business support for the group.

Key responsibilities include:-

Lead, manage and develop the FP&A function and a small team.
Manage and deliver annual budget and 2/3-year plan jointly with the Finance Director and in conjunction with senior management and business line managers.
Prepare full year reforecasts on a periodic basis.
Monitor, analyse and provide insightful commentary on monthly financial performance (PL, BS, CF, KPI's etc.) and variances against budget, full year reforecast and prior year.
Assist in the development of suitable KPI's for the business. Monitor and provide insightful commentary on KPI's on a regular basis, liaising with business line managers as necessary.
Provide input for and prepare financial/management information and commentary for monthly Board report and other reporting for private equity investor and lenders.
Manage and support monthly financial performance reviews with business regions/areas and cost centres.
Prepare and analyse cash flow forecasts including a rolling 13-week receipts and payments cash flow forecast and provide support for cash flow, working capital and capex management/decision making.
Assist with integration of acquired businesses from an FP&A perspective.
Suitable candidates will have a strong FP&A background with 3+ years experience. Accountancy qualified with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Proven experience in multi- site businesses and experience of leading and managing a small team. You will have worked with Senior Managers and able to engage and influence key stakeholders. Experience of implementing new finance systems and a proactive approach to process improvements.
