Established charity based in London are looking to recruit an experienced Expenses Clerk

This role will sit within the Purchase Ledger function and your main responsibilities will include maintaining all aspects of the expenses function including posting expenses into the accounting system, as well as verification to ensure correct coding and accuracy.

Other responsibilities will be:-

* Checking and posting employee expenses and ensuring that they are accurate and that they comply with the MSI expenses policy
* Company credit card and month end reconciliations
* Liaise with corporate credit holders to ensure claims are submitted in line with MSI expenses policy
* Creation of supplier/employee accounts including updating bank details where required
* Maintaining the Inbox for the expenses function and dealing with team member queries
* Other Ad-Hoc duties as required

Key skills required for this role will include:-

* Previous experience in a similar role (ideally within another charity or not for profit organisation)
* Experience with SUN accounts
* Experience of Vision or Q&A reporting
* Strong understanding of accounting terminology
* Working knowledge of HMRC guidelines
* Good understanding of Per Diems
* AAT Qualified
* Strong excel skills
* Strong communications skills

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous experience in a similar role (ideally within charity sector), and capable of dealing with a high volume of transactions in a sizeable organisation. This role would suit a candidate with strong accounting experience who is looking for a full time, permanent position to help support its cause.
