Finance Tendering Analyst
To be responsible for accurate pricing of tender documents within stated tender deadlines.
To play a key role within the tendering process supporting the business development team on all financial aspects. To support the analysis of pay and charge rates within branches to ensure that maximum levels of profitability are being achieved.

THE ROLE:
The post holder will be responsible for putting together the pricing structures for new business activity as part of the tender process. All pricing to be clearly demonstrated within a P&L environment to clearly illustrate the profitability of the proposed new and existing contracts.
The post holder will need to form excellent working relationships with the finance teams, business development teams and all members of the tendering process team.
RESPONSIBILITES:
* To build a sound financial model based upon the tender documentation supplied.
* To form a key link between the business development, contracts, operations and the analysts so that all their views can be considered prior to a tender being submitted and all appropriate approvals are obtained.
* To work with the Rates Team to accurately reflect the pricing which has been approved for implementation using the correct rates templates.
* To review the pricing assumptions annually to ensure that the tendering models are reflecting the true costs to the business.
* To support the Head of Bid Finance with pricing reviews and adhoc projects.
* To review government legislation changes that impact the pricing (AWR & LLW) so that their impact can be included within the submissions and /or standard pricing.

* Highly analytical
* Strong communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels
* Highly proficient on excel - with the ability to put together complex spread sheets which are easily understood.
* Systems literate
* Ability to work to strict deadlines

DESIRABLE:
* Studying for professional finance qualification
