POSITION: Financial Report Writer

LOCATION: Sheffield

PRACTICE AREA OR DEPARTMENT AND TEAM: Asset Management

PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide pre-settlement report writing support to a team of Financial Advisers

RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

-To produce pre-settlement expert financial reports, involving the use of financial modelling tools for financial advisers

- Analyse schedules of loss, court orders and periodical payment calculations

- To carry out research into technical issues and products as required

- To convey and discuss technical information

- To produce portfolio lifespan graphs through use of Excel programmes

- To work closely with other members of the team to ensure a consistent level of service which meets client expectations and to ensure team goals are met.

- To communicate with clients and external providers in a professional manner ensuring they are left with a good impression of the company.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The ideal candidate will ideally have the following

- Be educated to 'A' level standard

- Have at least three years' work experience in a similar role

-Worked as part of a team

- Analytical

-Excellent written manner

-Clear verbal communication

-Use of initiative

-Organisation and time management

-Numerate

- Accurate

-Problem Solving

-IT literate with knowledge of MS Office programmes and Excel

- Professional presentation

Further qualities that are desirable but not essential include;

- Educated to degree level

- Full CFP

- Knowledge of financial services industry

-Knowledge of personal injury
