Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for an ambitious and inter-personally strong Financial Analyst for a leading organisation in Sheffield.

The primary purpose of this role of Financial Analyst will be to provide financial reporting and analysis as well as high quality MI data to contribute to the financial planning and operational strategy of the company.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Reporting & Analysis - Own the models for regular reporting and support analysis of financial data and performance. Liaise with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
* Prepare reports and projections based on this analysis and flag up issues or recommendations. Key reports are the monthly flash and management accounts, the Risks & Opportunities reporting, the quarterly/bi-annual reports on market and initiatives, and the annual strategy or budget models.
* M&A activities - Support the strategic development of the businesses through operational due diligence support
* Projects - own and support projects which can range from operational initiatives to strategic papers and will provide breadth and depth of experience beyond reporting and analysis.
* Business Partnering - Develop the skills to support operational management in the business through the ability to deliver insight as well as asking the right questions, collaborate as well as challenge.
* Co-operate with Group Finance - Ensure a strong link to Group Finance in all reporting matters and the ability to support both ways with regards to models, processes and standards.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Educated to degree level (Master level) with focus on Finance / Controlling
* Expert-level analytical and financial modelling skills (principally Microsoft Excel)
* Attention to detail yet ability to see big picture / strategies
* Excellent presentation and reporting writing skills
* Mobility, will consider opportunities internationally over developing years
