Senior HVAC Engineer - Cambridgeshire

In this exciting role you will be working for the number 1 Engineering firm in Europe and be in charge of have fantastic portfolio of blue chip clients. The role is mobile across Cambridgeshire (company car provided) and will offer great variety from day to day - if you are great team player and a self-starter then please do not hesitate to reply ASAP!

Your key responsibilities will include;

*Focus on installation, maintaining, troubleshooting and repair within set timeframe and according to defined process, service agreements and customer needs
*Most senior/experienced technician to provide 'on site' advice to the customer related to technical installation and/or service issues
*Completes planned site/customer visits and resolves customer request/calls as dispatched
*Develops positive customer relationships, ensures pro-active feedback on and documentation of the customer's equipment and systems status and of work completed
*May act as a technical 'on the job' coach for less experienced service team members and may help coordination of onsite work activity for multi person jobs.
*Scope: field operations - all BA

Your Key Accountabilities
*Diagnoses and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as an understanding on time and material requirements. Seeks clarification and technical support where needed and escalates issues as appropriate.
*Installs, starts up and commissions systems in line with defined regulations, standards and processes.
*Understands and analyzes relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.
*Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems and reach full understanding of customer needs.
*Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, recommends system enhancement/upgrade/replacement and promotes the sale of change orders and/or additional labor & material work (L&M).
*Advises and trains customer in system operations.
*Documents work completed in a clear and concise way and promptly submits service reports.
*Ensures compliance with the Johnson Controls safety culture and adheres to all applicable safety standards, requirements and equipment.
*Ensures compliance with environmental and industry regulations, where required.
*In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

Technical Position Requirements
*Relevant qualifications in the specific trade (HVAC, F-Gas, Brazing etc)
*Relevant industry knowledge (Split systems, VRV's, VRF's etc)
*M&E/Building services experience would be beneficial
*Excellent customer contact skills
*Ability to work independently as well as in a team
*Takes the initiative to solve problems
*Full and clean driver's license
