Job Title: Business Development - Membership Sales
Location: Oxfordshire - Home-Based
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract - around 12 Months

Role description

The primary focus of this role is to:

  • Proactively promote and sell the benefits of membership

  • Primary targets are based on actual membership sales and income growth

  • Other targets are based on minimum no. of new contacts and qualified appointments per week

  • Responsible for writing and executing a local membership sales plan

  • Ensure that targets are met and standards are achieved

  • Ability to work on own initiative and have positive outlook

Person specifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years, B2B field and telesales sales experience selling to senior decision makers

  • Degree qualified, ideally in a business related degree

  • Able to work under own initiative with a proactive, can-do approach

  • Enthusiastic, motivated and results driven

  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with same level of written and spoken English

  • Good, confident telephone manner

  • Must be a seasoned networker

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment

  • Full UK driving licence and Car

The package

The successful candidate will enjoy a generous basic, commission and bonus structure with a realistic OTE of GBP35k-40k per annum.
