Payments Officer, Crewe. Service Care Solutions are looking to recruit a Payments officer to work on a temporary ongoing basis for a client based in Crewe. For this role, the key purpose will be to contribute to the delivery of an excellent and efficient service within the finance teams' operation and to assist with monthly, quarterly and annual accounting requirements when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that all information regarding financial data that is passed into the department is acted upon at the correct time.
Ensure internal and external queries are dealt with promptly and effectively and in line with the Partnership Customer Service Standards.
Ensure the timely completion of payments runs to ensure suppliers are being paid promptly.
Assist in the development of plans and timetables that allows timely information and processing delivery (daily, weekly, monthly as required).
Ensure that the finance sub-ledgers are accurately maintained and that relevant control accounts are reconciled.
Suggest improvements to Payments processes and monitor any improvements or changes made.

Essential:
Proven customer service experience.
A commitment to team working and the ability to adapt to change and be flexible.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Good oral and written communications
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable:
Experience of month end processes.
Experience of using Oracle Financials or equivalent finance system.
