Job Summary

My client, a leading financial services brand, based in London are looking for an experienced Digital Optimisation Manager to support the delivery of ambitious revenue plans for the Digital channel. They will work collaboratively with Digital teams globally, regionally and at local entity level to understanding the value channel, forecast future sales targets and Digital customer journeys.

Detailed Job Description

Through the definition of the global digital optimisation strategy, the Digital Optimisation Manager will be accountable for long-term, state of the art optimisation strategies, including but not limited to A/B testing, multivariate testing (MVT), personalisation and content targeting for 'always on' execution. The strategy definition will extend to include driving data driven behaviour, supported by the architecture to build repeatable opportunities for creating smart customer behaviour that can be implemented to increase revenue creation and the key Digital Metrics.

Driving engagement across the business to evangelise the benefits of optimisation to win the hearts and minds of senior executives and channel owners to prioritise execution of the strategy, tailoring to the specific needs of key stakeholders where appropriate. The successful digital optimisation manager will build and maintain exceptionally strong relationships, leveraging these to drive collaboration and delivery of engaging, relevant, timely and accurate content and customer journey opportunities across the Digital channels.

Role Requirements

* Customer focused, results based approach
* Strong thought leadership and creativity to proactively propose new optimisation opportunities and resolve issues
* Extensive experience in strategy definition and execution within digital channels
* Proven ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, influencing teams without direct leadership authority
* Experience with A/B Testing and Multivariate Testing (MVT) solutions; experience with personalisation projects or programs
* Strong quantitative skills and familiarity with statistical analysis or experiment design
* Working knowledge of Webtrends and Cognos (or relatable) MI and analysis tools
* Subject matter expertise of channel, including technical, commercial, market place and customer considerations.
* Strong Commercial focus, ability to balance risks vs. rewards and maximize the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business
* Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, e.g. commercials, risk, and customer experience; determine the implications and make recommendations as needed
* Innovative - the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals
* Experience in both the developed and emerging markets
