Our client's broking technology processes transactions worth over GBP5 billion gross written premium and their teams are responsible for developing and delivering some of the most cutting edge software in the insurance market. By helping their customers to define their requirements, our client maps the journey and builds the solution.

Our client is looking for a talented Project Manager to join their Project/Programme Management Team based from their Aldershot office.

What being the Project Manager will involve:

Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee a number of small projects or phases of a larger programme of activity, responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle. Effectively co-ordinating the various activities of the project team, you will ensure the motivation of that project team, from assigning individual responsibilities through to developing the schedule of activities to ensure the timely completion of the project. This is a key stakeholder management role as you will interact frequently with your team, management and customers to define project requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined terms, methodology, policy, and regulations. Through the development of strong customer relationships you will be the 'trusted advisor' at project management and senior management levels.

Based from our client's Aldershot offices, there will be travel across the UK with ad hoc requirements to undertake international travel.

What experience our client is looking for from you:

- Previous relationship management experience, including customer interfacing at pre-project phase, during project and post completion.
- A proven track record of successfully managing a number of sizeable projects through all project phases from inception to sign-off.
- Experience with operating formal project management methodologies.
- Previous project budget management experience.
- Previous client training and formal presentation experience.
- Knowledge of the Insurance industry and its processes and procedures, gained through academic study or direct experience.
