ERG are working with one of our clients who are a shared services company set up to offer quality business support services primarily to the public sector but also organisations within the private sector. They provide high quality business solutions functions in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Revenues & Benefits and Training to a range of customers.

An exciting new opportunity is available for a Payroll Technical Manager to support the delivery and development of the Payroll and Pension service. This is a key role for the company and you will be accountable for the delivery of a high quality, efficient payroll and pension service for approximately 6000 employees across a diverse client base.

You will be an experienced senior/specialist Payroll professional with a proven track record in delivering high quality payroll and pension services consistently which are legally compliant to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time. You will have excellent analytical skills and be skilled in data management and reporting. You will work closely with the HR Services Manager and clients/managers to develop service delivery model process options, with a view to maximising self-service options. Management responsibility for payroll delivery will sit elsewhere giving you the space to focus on the technical payroll aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) and will possess a relevant professional payroll qualification. You will be an experienced Payroll professional with an excellent working knowledge of HR/Payroll systems, payroll processes and committed to delivering high quality compliant payroll and pension services.
