Our client is a local success story and they are now looking to replace the existing Finance Manager due to impending relocation.

Managing a small team and reporting directly to the MD, your duties will include, but not be limited to the following;

Working with the directors to provide a strong financial support to the business

* Business planning and budget setting
* Understanding of capital expenditure, purchase timing and challenges faced as part of the overall business plan
* Production of monthly and annual management accounts across multiple associated companies to deadline
* Long & short term cash flow management
* Year end audit coordination and liaison with auditors
* Development and maintenance of procedures in line with changes and growth within multiple companies
* Cross department collaboration with sales, marketing, production planning, procurement and supply chain management
* Price setting and Variance analysis
* Supervision, training and development of staff
* Purchasing and purchase ledger input
* Sales ledger input
* Credit control
* Ad hoc duties and reporting

This role requires someone with a background working for an SME. Capable of working on the entire accounting process when required, you will be as comfortable and confident working with the board as you are inputting purchase invoices during busy periods.

Ideally CIMA or ACCA post qualified (or equivalent), the successful candidate will have a proactive and positive approach and will welcome working for a business going through a positive period of change.
