Urgently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a high luxury packaging company in London.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to run their small, but growing QA Team.

It is essential that candidates have QA experience, and ideally experience with printing industry manufacturing processes and packaging.

Successful candidates will be highly pro-active and must have excellent attention to detail and be organised, technically minded, with the ability to understand often complex concepts and communicate them simply and clearly with non-technical members of staff.

Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining FSC, ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditation
Assist in the transition to the latest version of the standards
Ensuring that all internal non-conformances are properly recorded and that investigation, root cause analysis and countermeasures are robust and effective
Ensure internal non-conformance are communicated with relevant departments
Manage supplier non-conformances - ability to challenge suppliers to ensure quality is improved
Carry out internal audits as necessary, evaluate audit findings and implement suitable corrective actions
Investigation and management of customer complaints
Issue technical specification documents to customers when required
Responsible for quality release of manufactured products to AQL standards
Create and maintain colour standards library
Ensure printers are challenged to deliver the closest match to approved targets
Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and create technical reports for senior management
Analysis of data for process improvement, continuously looking to improve and suggest efficiency improvements
Managing, maintaining and developing quality training across the business
Responsible for new staff induction and training, raising quality awareness throughout the company to provide customers with a first class service

Essential requirements:

At least 2-3 years of experience in similar role
Knowledge of printing industry manufacturing processes
Good understanding of colour management technology
Knowledge of quality management systems, ISO and BRC standards
Self-motivated and excellent attention to detail
A proven manager with great leadership skills
Computer literate
An excellent communicator
Able to work well under pressure

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 9am to 5.30pm
