Leading Alternative Financier are currently seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients with utilisation across their range of funding solutions, currently supply chain finance, invoice trading and loans through their group companies.

You will have responsibility for Identification and management of risks within the products and client portfolio making recommendations and taking appropriate action where required. Using your proactive approach to identify risks and manage solutions to reach the desired outcomes and recoveries.

You will use you knowledge to make recommendations and enhance the operations processes.

You will be required to assist with periodic reporting on portfolio performance and sectors along with ad-hoc visit reports and facility reviews.

Management of the client includes extending client life through good service and relationship building to enhance your understanding of the client's needs and risks. Client visits will be required where appropriate.

Preparation of client facility reviews for submission to credits committee and thereafter following up on any conditions agreed.

Management and reporting of credit insurance requirements that relate to your client portfolio

To make recommendations for enhancement of the company's risk policy and to ensure all risk policy decisions are implemented, and in conjunction with the Operations Director to continually oversee day to day processes, systems, client services and risk management.

To manage and report on collect outs and recoveries, to minimise defaults and losses for our funders and the company.

To comply with credit policy and credit application process using your experience to make recommendations to enhance.

To work with the Operations Director to ensure accurate preparation of funder updates on overdue debts and collect outs.

Liaison and direction to external service providers including but not exhaustive lawyers, insolvency practitioner, credit insurance etc.

On occasion you may be required to support sales and credit teams in new business applications.

Any other duties as and when required within the business

Other Responsibilities

• To monitor and report on Risk management, continually reviewing procedures and suggesting improvements where necessary.
• To monitor and report on all problem or potential loss accounts, assist in the overall risk management of those accounts.
• To monitor, compile and report on all Client Trends, and perform Risk analysis of the Portfolio.
• Monitoring and reporting to the Operations Director on any high risk and potential loss situations immediately.
• To review and underwrite auctions/Trades in line with underwriting mandates.
• To manage the Debtor Protection Policy, ensuring conformity at all times and managing all aspects of the renewal process.
• To participate as required with monthly client Portfolio meetings as well as ad-hoc reviews as required with the Operations team.
• To constantly review all accounts in collect out ensuring that losses are kept to a minimum, and funders return is protected.
• To compile and implement Client Exit Strategies, in conjunction with the Operations Director.
• To closely monitor performance of all Supply Chain Finance clients, Invoice Trading clients and group company exposures as appropriate.
• To undertake Client Visits as and when required.
• To promote the Company's core values.
• To undertake all other reasonable tasks as and when required.
• To build and maintain relationships with key Introducers, Insolvency Practitioners and Solicitors.
• To assist in covering the Operation Director's responsibilities competently during their absence.
It should be noted that a number of the above roles would be performed in conjunction with the Operations Director.
