Pertemps prestigious client, who is one of Scotland's largest and most renowned University's, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join their team in central Edinburgh.

Reporting into the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for processing the financial administration for externally funded research projects, including maximising recovery of direct and indirect costs. Furthermore, you will provide guidance, reports and support to colleagues in various departments throughout the University.

Responsibilities include:



- Liaise with internal and external colleagues to ensure the timely and accurate submission of research claims, statements, invoices and reports, to ensure all contract requirements are met
- Prepare detailed analysis and reconciliation of research awards financial information
- Monitor actual income and expenditure against budgets and raise significant variances with Management
- Provide accurate reports and advice when required

As the ideal candidate you will have:

- a proven track record within a Financial Administration role and have a good understanding of financial reconciliation and audit requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to manage your workload
- Good Excel skills
