What you will do:

To be part of a team responsible for the accounting, management and statutory reporting for a Lloyd's syndicate.

To maintain the nominal ledger and producing the supporting schedules for the monthly management accounts.

Assist in the production of:

Monthly management accounts

Quarterly reporting for Lloyd's of London

Solvency II reporting

US Situs & Canadian regulatory reporting

Tax returns - UK, US & Canadian


Business forecasts

Cashflow reporting & forecasts

Liaising closely with client, internal departments and auditors

Your experience will include:


Ideally studying CIMA / ACCA

Highly numerate with advanced Excel skills

Good general accounting experience from corporate environment, any insurance exposure would be preferred

Excellent communication skills with a particularly high level of attention to detail & able to work to tight deadlines

Exposure to the insurance sector would be beneficial
