Senior Finance Assistant Sales Ledger and WIP - Central London
A Marketing Agency in Central London seeks a Sales Ledger / Finance Assistant to join their collaborative and friendly Finance team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Resolving any Sales invoice queries with Commercial Teams both UK and Globally and reconciling statements Enforcement of all key purchasing control procedures and ensure all staff implement correct procedure as necessary. Allocation of cash received or paid. Cost analysis preparation showing spend against budget with full interpretation and recommendations as necessary. Supplier statement reconciliations. Maintain excellent filing system for all accounting transactions with an open mind to reducing amount of paper filing as far as possible. Cashflow forecasting and reporting. Active participation on improving the nominal list and system facilities in order to increase productivity attending the needs of the business Assisting with Month End, Accruals, Profit and Loss Other ad hoc admin tasks as required by Finance Director which may cover areas of Finance and be part of person's on-going development. Attributes Sought Needs to have started an accountancy qualification and who is ambitious to learn and develop. AAT / CIMA or ACCA Able to use one's own initiative and solve problems. Attention to detail and methodical approach. Solid communication skills - Good written and spoken English team player attitude. Team player attitude. Commercial awareness.
