Sheridan Maine Finance and Accountancy are supporting a client based in Ringwood with the recruitment of a part-time Management Accountant working 16-25 hours.This role is working in a small team, supporting the Head of Finance with duties including:- Preparation of monthly, half-yearly and year-end management accounts in the required format and to timescales set by group.- Ensuring that all nominal ledger accounts (namely but not limited to fixed assets, purchase ledger and sales ledger) are reconciled promptly after each period close.- Maintenance of the purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger and fixed asset register.- Completion of all financial and government returns - VAT returns, INTRASTAT, P11D's, etc.- Variance analysis - highlighting variances against budget and previous years.- Monthly report detailing the contribution derived by different product groups.- Preparation of interim and year-end audit packs.The successful candidate will have the following attributes:- Qualified or part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA.- Previous experience in a similar management accounts role.- Strong IT skills including intermediate Excel and Sage knowledge.Finance and Accountancy jobs in Hampshire, Finance jobs, Accountancy jobs, AAT, CIMA, ACA, ACCA.SM AgyCandidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
