An established private bank based in the West End require the addition of a Compliance Analyst. You will be a key member of the compliance monitoring team providing support on thematic reviews across the business taking on further responsibilities within the team and developing your own expertise with the support of those around you.Key points of this excellent opportunity include: * Reporting in to the Head of Compliance Monitoring, an exceptional individual who is driven and passionate about their work and the business itself, you would benefit significantly from their influence and guidance.* Carrying out thematic reviews across the business - constructing pertinent questions and frameworks for each thematic review.* Executing reviews within the business interacting with a multitude of stakeholders and different levels of seniority.* Formulating incisive evidence reports and comment for the review by the board.* Covering a multitude of subject matter from , MiFIDII, Client Money/CASS, Market Abuse, Suitability, AML , Training, Complaints etc.* Investigative and challenging work as part of a small team for each review.* A structured mentoring and training programme.* Full exposure across the business engaging within all areas and interacting with all levels of stakeholder.* Full support for further professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, CISI (will cover the costs and provide 5 days study leave).* It is expected that after two years you will have dramatically increased your own professional standing and knowledge within the business having become an established member of the team there will be ample opportunity for you move within the business (if desired) and you will be supported by the Head of Compliance monitoring on this.The business itself is very entrepreneurial and has very high and exacting standards.
