The Company:

Following a very impressive period of growth, our well-established client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the business, based at their European Head Quarters in Bracknell. This business is a very professional, friendly, global business, who provide services of various clients across a number of sectors, and offer a great training programme to all that join them.

The Role:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, your experience is likely to include a similar analystical role within a global business, and you may be part-qualiified, or qualified by experience, potentially with recent exposure to system implementations. My client is currently going through a system up-grade, and this has resulted in this newly-created role for the business.

You will be working within a newly created team, to support the system up-grade of the new accounting system, so it is essential you can pick up new skills quickly and work with minimal supervision. You will also be available at fairly short notice to commence this one year contract role.

Your duties as a Senior Financial Analyst will include:

* Translating and transferring intercompany work between existing the current accounting system and the new accounting system, in both directions
* Perform and complete various analytical reports each day, for senior stakeholder review
* Monitor quality of work done, including monitoring effectiveness of any automated solutions
* Act as point of contact for queries regarding transactions and manage any queries through to resolution
* Prepare regular updates regarding performance, progress, issues and status, as defined and agreed with the programme management team and provide monthly and weekly status reporting
* Identify and escalate any issues beyond scope of control to the programme management team and/or the Finance Manager
* Support the team leader in managing a wide range of programme and business stakeholder relationships and maintain a deep understanding of the business needs
* Support the team leader by liaising with the Programme Team / Heads of Programme areas to resolve issues in the running of the process
* Seek to continually improve the processes and tools used
* Continue to develop the detailed processes including documenting them within the programme standard;
* Proactively identify and manage the required outcome of potential risks and opportunities

Ideal profile as a Senior Financial Analyst:

* Offer a strong technical accounting background and potentially previous exposure to intercompany transactions
* Strong team player and able to cope with high level of transactions
* Adaptable, flexible and able to cope with change
* Ability to manage internal customer relationships
* Able to build strong relationships and be able to work with senior stakeholders
* Advanced Excel - ideally to pivot table and macro experience
* Able to problem solve in a financial environment
* Able to multi-task and go the extra mile as and when required
* Be available at short notice to commence this role

My client is happy to look at offering a Fixed Term contract role, up to cGBP34,000, or pay the chosen candidate on an equivalent daily rate.
