Our client is a highly respected family business with a long standing reputation in the Gloucestershire market. A multi-site retail environment, they have enjoyed growth including launch of a new operation. As a result, the business needs to bolster the infrastructure with the appointment of a Financial Controller. A hands on role, they are seeking an individual to take full responsibility for managing the finances of the business. This will involve: * Reviewing the existing systems of internal control and recommending enhancements * Production of timely monthly management reports with rigorous analysis * Production of annual budget * Cash flow forecasting * Monthly payroll responsibilities including end of year returns * Tighten banking and cash reconciliation processes * Work with Directors in evaluating new ventures in pipeline * Enhance the overall administration processes around the business The Person * Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) * Technically astute * Sage 50 Experience * Confident communicator The fit with the management team is the key factor when your competencies are proven to the expected standards.
