We have a great opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join a well-established business based in Northampton.

The responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator will include:

*Process weekly and monthly payroll duties to accounting system accurately and efficiently
*Process timesheets onto the system
*Investigate and resolve payroll queries
*Process SMP (Statutory Maternity Pay), SSP (Statutory Sick Pay) and starter and leaver documents (including P45/P46)
*Dealing with pension contributions and holiday calculations
*Monthly and year end processing of payment to tax and NI contributions
*Dealing with all aspects of auto enrolment and RTI (Real Time Information)
*Ensure the company complies with all legal requirements relating to employment and pay
*Process data to monitor compliance with the Working Time Directive and HSE Fatigue Assessment Toolkit

Skills and experience required:

*Experience with payroll processing
*Expert with MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
*Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
*Strong numerical skills
*Knowledge of payroll regulations and requirements
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
*Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
*Ability to provide a high level of customer service, professionalism and courtesy to all clients and employees
*Ability to self-manage working with minimal supervision
*High integrity to ensure confidentiality at all times
