A Leading City based Insurance Group seeks an advanced stage Part Qualification in Accountancy (ACCA/CIMA) who has 4+ years experience in a management accounts dept, you should have an understanding of organisation structures and inter-company charging, sound knowledge in tax and accounting issues. Working in excellent environment , the company good communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to build effective working relationships with all levels of staff. The role is to deliver to deadline quarterly Management Accounts for appropriate co.s, subs and assocs, including journal postings and controls accounts. To prepare quarterly management accounts for subsidiary companies and associates. To prepare other accounting and reporting requirements for subsidiary and associate companies. To provide effective supervision of the Assistant Management Accountant and Purchase Ledger & Cashbook Assistant. Deal effectively with issues arising, relating to co.s, subs and assocs. Prepare statutory accounts (including assisting the auditors at the year end audit), UK tax returns and all other returns, review of the monthly VAT returns and annual adjustment thereof. Assist in the preparation of budgets
