This is a commercially focussed role, business partnering across the group and managing monthly KPI's whilst leading two direct reports. Part of a wider international publishing group that is a household name, there are fantastic opportunities to progress within this dynamic, fast-paced organisation. Key Responsibilities • Overall responsibility for the month end management accounts process and management accounts pack• Project-based financial analysis and evaluation of commercial opportunities as required by the commercial team • Management of annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process. Key point of contact with Commercial -collating information from a wide range of sources to pull the overall budget together. • Responsibility for the accuracy of budget and reforecasting process • Management of monthly KPI and yield reporting, and maintaining and improving KPI schedules • Responsibility for the monthly revenue reconciliation process, ensuring all revenue is properly accounted for, that reported revenue is in line with billed revenue and that credit notes are accurately reflected in reporting • Monthly cost reporting and review of reporting produced by the Management Accountants • Business partner with Legal and Editorial to discuss case load and developments • Key point of contact for all operational teams for Finance-related queriesKey Skills / Personal Specifications • University graduate • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified • Minimum 3-5yrs work experience in a commercial environment, Media industry a preference • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly form working relationships across non-finance• Highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task and successfully balance priorities to deliver to deadlines
