A well-respected family run business based in Cambridge, is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Supervisor on a 3 - 6 month temporary assignment. You will primarily be responsible for the smooth running of the purchase ledger team, ensuring timely and accurate recording of costs and payment of suppliers.
As Purchase Ledger Supervisor, key areas of responsibility will include, but not limited to: -
• Day to day supervision & support of the Purchase Ledger team
• Ensure that purchase ledger office is manned during operational hours
• Manage the supplier payment run process
• Assist with the reconciliation of the purchase ledger supplier statements
• Maintenance and payment of weekly staff expenses
• Supervise the opening of new accounts for purchase ledger, including creation of new supplier payment terms
• Develop and maintain customer/supplier relationships both internally & externally
• Produce weekly & monthly query performance reports
