Credit Control Team Leader
Full time, Permanent Position!

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Credit Control Team Leader to join one of our top clients based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates to join a well-established, vibrant company.

The Role:

* Recruit and Manage the staff within the team
* Issue daily tasks to the team to ensure that the credit control processes run smoothly
* Give and monitor KPI's for the team members and themselves
* Running regular 1-2-1's with the team members to ensure competence, identify training needs and be aware of any issues that the team are experiencing
* To be an active contributor with regards to the Senior Team on process, progress, issues, identification of change and Team Feedback
* Be the centre of competence for the team to direct queries to
* Write and assess business process for Credit Control Procedures and Policies
* Be responsible for ensuring that the customer account is correct and updated as part of the process for collecting debt
* Escalate and propose new system changes when required
* On finding issues that mean that collecting debt is not possible, be proactive in the approach with letting the relevant team know and suggesting solutions
* Engaging and effectively managing third parties regarding delinquent debt and providing correct information to them
* To adhere to cycles of reporting both internally and externally
* Provide reports and update to Management Team demonstrating how the department is progressing and any likely issues highlight in advance
* Managing accurate records of all chasing activity
* Providing forecast data regarding expected payments, following these through to ensure compliance
* Develop the credit management capability within the company
* Take an active approach in auditing and checking account pre-activity
* To be an active member of the Revenue Team working alongside colleagues that have impact regarding customer financial data

The Ideal Candidate:

* Prior experience of managing a team
* Experience of dealing with delinquent debt, managing credit control process and championing a change environment
* Good analytical, investigation and communication skills
* Motivated well organised
* Able to work to deadlines and work under pressure
