Commercial Data Analyst
Data Analyst role for one of Northern Ireland's most recognisable organisations based just outside Belfast.
Your new company
They are a homegrown Northern Ireland business that has recently completed a significant organisational and operational restructure which has opened up a range of excellent opportunities within their data analytics department. The current team consists of over 10 data experts coming from a wide area of disciplines including academia; Physics, Computer Science, Maths and Statistics which also includes specialist technologists and Business Intelligence professionals.
Your new role
You'll work within one of the company's specialist data teams that is responsible for the development, analysis and modelling of data to facilitate key insights that will support future development and organisational change.
This role will uniquely involve looking at marketing activity performance at a campaign level so applications are particularly welcome from applicants that have experience within the retail, insurance or marketing data sectors. On a daily basis you can expect to be busy in developing dashboards to support Management Information, reorganising large data-sets and collaborating with end-users and technical staff to ensure best-in-class reporting standards.
What you'll need to succeed
The company are excited to receive your application if you have a background in Maths, Statistics, Physics, Actuarial Science or IT. You should have strong experience of working with data analytics - ie Datamodelling, big data, data visualisation and stochastic analysis. Technology-wise you should have experience working with specific technology tools such as SPPS, SAS, Matlab or R and have the ability to us programming languages such as SQL, VB, C++ or Java.
