Due to expansion, my Client is currently seeking to recruit a qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant who has a passion for IT Solutions services with experience in providing Consultancy or implementing Corporate Treasury Solutions. The ideal candidate will likely come from a background of a leading Accountancy Firm, financial services or treasury consultancy background. You must have proven experience in the area of corporate treasury and financial instruments domain knowledge along with strong IT. Responsibilities and Skills: Coordinates technical pre-sales activities. Assists with the qualification of the opportunities and/or identification of target accounts. In-depth knowledge of IFRS relating to treasury instrument accounting, valuation, hedge accounting. IAS 39, FRS 102 S11, 1 etc. Proven experience within a leading Accountancy Firm and Financial Services Management Consultancy or IT Sectors, working as a Presales Consultant, Business Analyst or as Implementation Services Consultant. Experience of implementing/developing/supporting IT solutions in one or more of the following areas: Treasury Management, ALM, Liquidity Risk, Portfolio Management, ERP. Familiar with concepts of internal control and transactional work flow management. Good understanding of ERP. Qualifications: Bachelor degree ideally in an Analytical discipline (Maths, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance). Qualified Public Accountant: ACA ACCA. Essential soft Skills: Self starter and quick learner. Independent. Will need to work alone in the next 12-24 months. Affinity to both consultancy and technology. Willingness to travel. Excellent presentation, demonstration and relationship management skills. Other useful Skills: Intermediate to advanced SQL querying skills Know of database ER design and query. SQL Good working knowledge of query generation, SQL variants and general logic and coding standards Experience of working with large data models containing metadata. Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Powerpoint) Remuneration; annual salary, profit sharing scheme, a generous car allowance.
