Morson International Finance and Accountancy Division. We are currently assisting with the recruitment of a Head of Financial Reporting. To work with an highly succesful and ambitious business based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person. Could that person be you? We are looking for Head of Financial Reporting to join the Finance department, Reporting into the Finance Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial, regulatory & tax reporting process and maintaining a robust financial control environment The key responsibilities of the role are as follows: Financial reporting Ownership of the audit process & all accounting papersOversight of the Group's annual & interim year-end report and accountsDrafting the joint statement for review by FDOwnership of the dividend memos for the BoardOversight of Investor presentationsOwnership of due diligence process on potential acquisitionsManagement reporting Oversight of the monthly business review including improving the quality of information contained in the business review and efficiency of the production processProvide ad-hoc reports to management as requested by FD Regulatory reporting Assist the FD and Group FD in preparing the Group's consolidated ICAAPEmbedding the ICAAP into the businessOversight of the Group's consolidated and legal entity quarterly reporting submissions to the FCAEnsure all regulatory entities hold sufficient capital to meet their regulatory requirements at all timesPayroll and taxes Oversight of calculation, reporting and payment of Group's taxesOwnership of Growth share/CSOP valuation process Robust financial control environment Manage working capital for all entities within the GroupEnsure necessary controls are in place to ensure customers are charged correctlyOversight of controls & processes for reconciliations between the pension administration and accounting systemsOtherRisk Management of the Finance departmentOversight of the Group's financial controls and banking policies & combined assurance model for the Finance departmentThe disaster recovery plan of the Finance departmentManagement of the Finance cost centre & budget preparationManagementDirect management of the Manchester financial controller Overall responsibility for the statutory and Manchester management accounts team Essential skills/ experience: ACA/ACCA qualifiedExperience in a practice environment preferableStatutory and regulatory reporting experienceReporting experience (Board committees/auditors/management)Staff management experienceKnowledge of IFRS frameworkAble to prepare consolidated accountsCorporate activity experience preferableGood excel skillsExcellent communication, problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent benefits on offer, including a 15% annual bonus, car parking, Pension, etc
