This role sits within the Financial Planning and Analysis Department with Group Finance. The company offers a fantastic place of work and a very friendly culture Description The role is focused on providing timely, accurate and incisive reporting and analysis on business performance to aid management planning and decision making. Key Accountabilities Monthly corporate reporting, variance analysis and commentary versus budget, forecast and PYFinance Business partner to commercial (business unit) leadersProduce quarterly forecast and lead quarterly forecasting meetings with businessesCompilation of the 2018 budgetCreate and build relationships with other key customers within the business. (e.g. Department heads and other budget holders for OPEX analysis)Ensure monthly accruals and adjustments are processedUndertake ad-hoc projects and reporting as requiredBusiness Partner relationship for Business Units within the reporting structure. To include regular forecasting for units, sales price, cogs and costs.Business Partner relationship for overhead functions within the reporting structure. To include regular monitoring of spend and quarterly meetings on the performance against budget.Preparation of monthly expense reportsPreparation of business unit P&LsBudgeting process for business units and overhead departments.Update all reports and systems for when new products are acquired. Key Accountabilities (cont'd) Month end Reconciliation of sales and cost of salesAccruals and PrepaymentsSales price checkingProduces month end corporate reporting packs for the Board Accounting Projects Ad-hoc queries - to include analysis of sales and costs and assisting the business development team and other departmentsImprovement of reporting and company systems Relationships Build strong working relationship with rest of Group Finance Build relationships with Business Unit Directors and cost centre holders Develop relationships with other support functions Profile To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following; Strong working knowledge of management accounting and business partnering CIMA/ACCA part qualified Self-motivated individual who is able to work effectively to deadlines Highly numerate, good attention to detail Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with non-Finance internal customers Intermediate / Advanced excel skills essential including V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Sum if formals etc. Job Offer Basic salary between GBP27000 or GBP32000Full Study Support25 days holidayAgile workingBonusHealth-careShare-save scheme
