Property Accountant - Our Client is an established and cash rich international property owner and investor / asset manager who own a GBPmulti- billion global real estate portfolio. As they continue to expand and re-organise, they now seek an additional part qualified Property Accountant to inherit responsibility for a portfolio of overseas Assets / Companies. The Role: Will ensure that a designated overseas investment property portfolio is accounted for and appropriately controlled, reporting deadlines met and procedures followed and will include: Management and review of financial reporting including monthly cash flows, quarterly management accounts, annual budgets and interconnecting reports such as monthly bank reconciliations and quarterly rent reconciliations as well as other reports as necessary for the property portfolio provided by the outsourced Agents to an agreed timetable.Relationship management, direction and communication with the outsourced Agents; all levels.Supporting the Head Office Asset Manager(s) partnered to, including; providing financial reviews of prospective tenants, lease cash flow modelling, capex budget reviews.Assistance to or writing of internal memorandum to inform or recommend to management of Business issues and solutions.Management and review of internal reporting both programmed and ad-hoc to an agreed timetable.Management of all corporate processes and filings including tax and company secretarial for companies in those jurisdictions (in cooperation and direction with outsourced Agents and Professionals).Processing payments and treasury management.Year end IFRS accounts preparation and/or review.Assisting the Finance Manager (Overseas) in various other projects.Other ad hoc duties in within the Finance Department. The Person: To apply, you will be a part qualified accountant (ACCA preferred) with real estate / property experience at 'Asset' level and be focussed and organised with solid experience of management accounting, reporting and property asset level accounting. You will possess solid Excel reporting skills and ideally have experience of a property system. This role will require monthly overseas travel (for 1 or 2 days) to 2 European countries and therefore the chosen candidate must be flexible in this regard.
