To participate fully as a member of the Investment finance team by being responsible for the finance and regulatory reporting requirements of the Wealth Management division. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, ambitious and is excited about working in a growing business. The role requires a candidate who can deliver the full set of management and regulatory accounts within this regulated business area, as well as pick up and run with projects that may be outside of their experience set/comfort zone. Main responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentary and quarterly regulatory returnsPreparation of statutory accounts, including goodwill impairment reviews, and liaise with external auditors to complete the auditPreparation of key management information such as new business activity, funds under management and information for group reporting as well as regular forecasts and annual budgetsMaintain and improve the company's forecasting model on Microsoft Excel, adapting the forecast model to run scenariosInteract with the Financial Planning Consultants, especially on revenue queries With support if needed, advise senior management on the financial impact of decisions. Prepare, present and explain financial performance to the Board, and any external stakeholders (such as the FCA, auditors, tax authorities) Being the "go to" person for technical and finance related questions on all aspects of Thomas Miller Wealth ManagementContributing to the development of financial systems and processesParticipating in projects as required from time to time, including due diligence and financial analysis, in conjunction with senior executives Liaise with the Group finance function.
